TechGuard plan covers following: where id between 5534 and 5572;
Repair or replacement of a cracked screen on your smartphone during the contract period.
The plan includes repair or replacement services of the smartphone screen along with the labour costs in case of any type of screen damage.
The repair contract is valid only in India and is valid only if you are 18 years old or above the age of 18 years old
Initial Period of 15(fifteen) days from Start Date of this Repair Contract will be considered as “No Repair Request” Period and you are not entitled for any Repair Benefits.
The repair contract is valid for a smartphone manufactured in India or is legally imported in India and sold through official channels supported by an invoice and Manufacturers’ Warranty.
This Repair Contract is not assignable or transferable for any reason (including but not limited to the case of the smartphone being sold to or stolen by a third party).
Initial Period of 15(fifteen) days from Start Date of this Repair Contract will be considered as “No Repair Request” Period and you are not entitled for any Repair Benefits
You agree and undertake to download and install the screen diagnostic mobile application on your Mobile Device through the link provided in SMS /email/WhatsApp application message on successful payment of the ScreenGuard Plan price and complete the Mobile Screen Diagnostic Test within initial period of 10 days from start date of your Repair Contract. Based on the test report generated after the screen test following conditions will be applicable:
Successful completion of the TEST: 5% Service Fee applicable at the time of Repair Request.
Fail to download and conduct the TEST within initial period of 10 days: 15% Service Fee applicable at the time of Repair Request
TEST Report is negative: Cancelation of Repair Contract and refund of the Contract Price after deducting the Administration Fee of minimum amount of Rs 99/-
Since brand authorized centres do not allow repair of only screen when there are additional damages impairing the normal functionality of the mobile device (i.e Partial Repair), TECHGUARD may contact you for instruction on payment of additional costs at applicable market rate to carry out the additional repair services or replacement of key parts. . TECHGUARD will not conduct partial repair work as per brand repair guidelines. If you do not agree on payment within 7( Seven) days from date of TECHGUARD communication, then your unrepaired Mobile Device will be returned to you. Service fee will be refunded on receipt of bank details from you.
You hereby , agree and acknowledge that TechGuard may call , send email/SMS/WhatsApp application messages on any of the contact details shared by you, in order to keep you informed regarding our service or to send you any marketing and our other product related communication.
TechGuard reserves the rights to cancel the repair contract and/or withhold any repair request in the case of fraud, attempted fraud, tampering of the smartphone and its components or misrepresentation of smartphone age and condition or non-disclosure of any changes that can affect the repair contract and no refund will be due.
TechGuard reserves the right to cancel this Repair Contract and withhold any Repair Request which you are entitled under this Contract:
if “Date of Device Activation” of Mobile Device is earlier than “Date of Repair Contract Start Date” for a new Mobile Device or
if “Date of Device Activation” of Mobile Device is earlier than 6(months) months from “Date of Repair Contract Start Date” for a used Mobile Device
· Any costs that you incur to repair the smartphone by a third party
· Any type of other physical or liquid damage apart from screen or cosmetic damages such as scratches or dents etc.
· Damage or malfunction caused due to virus or any other software-based malfunction
· Repair of the device has been conducted from unauthorized service centre during or before the contract period
· Replacement of consumable items like batteries or accessories
· Any defects that are subject to manufacturers’ recall
