8 bad habits to kick for a Work From Home professional

The current pandemic has transformed the way of working for a lot of professionals across industries. It is also not yet clear as to when would we be able to come out of this. When we are cooped up for a long time, and work from home, a lot of unhealthy practices tend to creep in. Here is a quick list of 8 bad habits that need the boot.

8. No Schedule

As working from home, we are unable to fix our schedule the way we used to have while commuting to office. The time to wake up, getting ready, having breakfast, reaching to office on time, lunch time, walk etc. There is no office working environment due to which our priorities changes and we are unable to focus on work the way we used to do and also we are unable to complete our targets on time.

7. No Exercise

Irregular schedule results in no exercise, bad posture of sitting, If you do less exercise or activity you will become deconditioned. Your muscles weaken and lose bulk including the muscles you need for breathing and the large muscles in your legs and arms. You will become more breathless as you do less activity. You feel tired, inactive and unproductive. It is best to spend minimum an hour for your body workout.

6. No Water

It is necessary to drink minimum 8 glass of water per day, however due to ongoing situations we are less active and sit in a same positions for hours. This makes us forget the need for water.  Try to set a water reminder. Try to walk to the kitchen/ refrigerator each time for that glass of water.
